About Unshackled

Unshackled Ventures is a pre-seed venture fund for immigrant-founded startups. The fund is investing out of Fund III and is looking to partner with a Growth Hacking intern to grow our community, influence, and brand equity. Beyond investment capital, Unshackled provides full immigration support, including visa sponsorship and employment. Unshackled has invested in over 85 companies and sponsored over 250 immigration filings.

The Opportunity:

We seek a highly motivated and creative Growth Hacking Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for a college student passionate about entrepreneurship, digital marketing, and the unique challenges and opportunities immigrant founders face. As our Growth Hacking Intern, you will work closely with our team to devise and implement innovative strategies that drive rapid and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute growth hacking campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and content marketing.
• Analyze data to monitor campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Conduct market research to uncover insights into the immigrant entrepreneur ecosystem.
• Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to foster a culture of innovation and experimentation.
• Contribute to developing growth frameworks and best practices to source and support immigrant-founded startups.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in engineering, marketing, business, entrepreneurship, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in startups, venture capital, and the immigrant entrepreneur journey.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
• Creative thinker with a test-and-learn mentality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in digital marketing or growth hacking is a plus.
